I never reblog my own posts but I feel I should with this one.
I just realized that Odin technically wasn’t lying when he said, “Both of you were born to be kings.”
Because Thor is Odin’s biological son, so he was born to be the king of Asgard.
On the other hand, Loki is the biological son of Laufey, who is the king of the frost giants/Jotunheim. Therefore, Loki was born to be a king, just not of the place he always thought.
So Odin was actually telling the truth, just in a twisted way.
